Apple TV has released a collection of first-look photos for the fifth episode of Star City. The series, which serves as an alt-history expansion of the world established in For All Mankind, continues its narrative on June 19.
A New Perspective on the Space Race
Created by Ben Nedivi, Matt Wolpert, and Ronald D. Moore, the series shifts the focus behind the Iron Curtain. It explores the lives of the cosmonauts, engineers, and intelligence officers involved in the Soviet space program during the pivotal moment when the Soviet Union landed the first man on the moon.
The fifth episode, titled Bite Your Elbow, finds the pressure mounting within the program as fear begins to take hold. The show has garnered attention for its cinematic quality and analog aesthetic, drawing comparisons to the earlier seasons of its predecessor.
Production and Cast
The series features an ensemble cast including Rhys Ifans, Anna Maxwell Martin, Agnes O?Casey, Alice Englert, Solly McLeod, Adam Nagaitis, Ruby Ashbourne-Serkis, Josef Davies, and Priya Kansara. It is produced for Apple TV by Sony Pictures Television.
Showrunners Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi executive produce alongside Ronald D. Moore and Maril Davis of Tall Ship Productions, with Andrew Chambliss and Steve Oster also serving as executive producers.
Following the premiere of the fifth episode on June 19, new installments of the series will debut globally on Apple TV every Friday through July 10.
