Goel has been a long-standing member of the ZEE Entertainment team, having joined the organization in 2007. During his tenure, he has been instrumental in transforming ZEE UK from a network featuring only two television channels into the largest South Asian broadcasting network in Europe. The network now oversees seven channels alongside the expanding digital ecosystem of ZEE5.
Strategic Expansion and Digital Growth
Under Goel’s leadership, the network has prioritized accessibility and digital-first initiatives. This includes the 2023 launch of four ZEE channels on Freeview Connected, which provided free access to South Asian entertainment for households throughout the UK. Furthermore, Goel has been a key figure in the introduction of FAST channels on platforms such as Samsung TV Plus and Rakuten TV, marking a significant milestone for South Asian broadcasting in the region.
Goel’s efforts have also extended to localization initiatives in markets like Germany and France, aimed at reaching new audiences. With over two decades of experience in international media, he has previously managed content and brand integration strategies for major properties such as Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.
