The long-awaited return to the world of the Owens sisters is finally here. The first trailer for Practical Magic 2 has arrived, offering fans a glimpse at the continuation of the story that began in the 1998 cult classic.
Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman reprise their roles as Sally and Gillian Owens. The sequel finds the sisters navigating their multi-generational family legacy while working to break a centuries-old curse. The footage emphasizes the central theme of sisterhood as the pair joins forces to protect the next generation of their family.
A New Chapter for the Owens Family
The film features a mix of returning favorites and new faces. Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing are back to reprise their roles from the original film. The expanded cast also includes Lee Pace, Joey King, Maisie Williams, Xolo Maridueña, and Solly McLeod.
Susanne Bier directed the project, working from a script penned by Akiva Goldsman and Georgia Pritchett. Goldsman previously co-wrote the original film. Production duties are handled by Bullock, Kidman, and Denise Di Novi.
