Never say never. Especially in Hollywood. Everything there is ruled by dollars and cents and as such the fine folks at Paramount and Hasbro have must’ve done what was needed because the word on the interwebz is that Michael Bay, contrary to prior reports, will not yet leave the Transformers franchise and will be returning to ‘reboot’ the series according to produce Lorenzo Di Boneventura.

I trust him. Producers are usually the guys signing the checks and I tend to follow what’s said by those signing the checks. If he says Michael Bay is returning then it’ll take a blunt statement from Michael Bay to convince me that a biding contract is not yet in place. I’m excited about the idea and I think you should be too. Michael Bay may not have critical acclaim with his direction of the series the man packed enough ‘splosions in the series to keep us coming back for more. This may postpone a possible ‘Bad Boys 3’ but what do you guys think of the news? Is it hitting any of your radars?

Completely agree and seriously whats point? Reboot with the same director?
If they reboot it, I will NOT go see it. I’m sick of Hollywood rebooting everything. Do they really think we’re fools, and that we will continue to shell out money for the same thing?
I can’t understand why people continue to support these films. Each one was been cinema of the lowest order, the action is poorly edited, the effects are an indistinguishable mass of churning gears, the humor is insulting, the plots incomprehensible, the characterization is non-existent and they are all an hour too long. Call me a hater bu these movies are terrible, and yes I am including the last 40 mins of the TF3 in that statement. In conclusion a continuation of the series without all the main characters but bring back the same film-maker is not a reboot it’s a sequel.
Sorry for the rant but damn I hate these movies!
