There’s a lot of cool dwarves in this movie. Seriously, we have Ray Winstone, Ian McShane, Eddie Izzard, Bob Hoskins, Eddie Marsan and Toby Jones already on board and now we’re adding another name in the long list of (British) talent attached to this picture.

Variety wrote that the actor was in negotiations to play the final dwarf, and Frost has confirmed it on his Twitter feed. You can tell he might have a little bit of Brit Hobbit envy though, referencing “Nasty hobbits” in his tweet before admitting “#wrongfilm.”
I like it. I still have no idea why I was originally so fascinated by this movie, but when you look at the cast they’ve assembled then it seems like it was a safe bet. Sure, Jackman and Mortensen both fled this project but what they’ve been able to produce after their departure is truly intriguing and has deservedly earned its a place on the ‘radar’.
