Remember when every other day there seemed to be casting news for X-Men First Class? Well we gave you a break, and now yet another star has been added to the roster, playing a politician.
The Devil himself, Ray Wise will be joining the cast.
Ray Wise revealed that he’ll be playing the Secretary of State in Matthew Vaughn’s upcoming prequel.
Wise said “he’ll be going to shoot in a couple weeks and that that he thinks his role might require a bit of special effects.”
So what does a Secretary of State need special effects shots for?
Maybe because he is going to be playing Mr Sinister??
Yeah, I said it. Its not verified nor am I claiming its true, but I am calling it. But tell me you don’t take one look at this guy and think he couldn’t pull of Sinister.
In the comics, Sinister is named as Nathaniel Essex and possesses shapeshifting abilities and a telepath as well as supernatural strength and endurance that has made him virtually immortal. He strives to create the ultimate mutant and studies the DNA of very powerful heroes.
He is known to be very manipulative and could easily be posing as the Secretary of State to serve his means in the film.

Oh! regarding the special effects, they could be making him look younger for flash back purposes. They might have scenes in the present and the past. But then again going with my first comment, I agree with you Rodney, he might be Mr. Sinister. One more character to add to a cast that is overflowing.
Sounds like they are throwing everything at the screen like they did with Wolverine. They figure is they put in as many characters as possible something might stick with the audience. The only thing that made Wolverine halfway enjoyable was Hugh Jackman and I don’t think he’s in this movie, oh…wait, maybe he is. I’ll check back here tomorrow to find out.

If you’re right, then that’s hilarious! Hugh being in it would be cool though. At the rate they’re going, these actors must be getting paid minimum wage just so this movie will turn a profit.
Good call Rodney. I really hope he is playing Sinister. He probably wouldn’t be the main villian but they could set him up for another X-Men film.
