Recently at The Toronto International Film Festival, Keanu Reeves was cornered by MTV and was asked what he thought of the long rumoured third Bill and Ted film.
The recently “sad” actor says he’d love to do another Bill & Ted (duuuuuuuh), they just have to get the story right. For a story that never made sense in the first place, this is lofty goal. Keanu also says he’d love German director Werner Herzog to add his flair to the project. Now that I would pay to see.
I think the last name I would have suspected is Werner Herzog. Herzog does not strike me as the goofball comedy type, and its pretty clear Reeves is just pulling our legs with an assertment like that. He does a good Herzog imitation in the interview.
Will there ever be a third Bill and Ted? I for one would love to see it happen just to see The Wylde Stallions again. Perhaps dealing with a world that hasn’t evolved into the utopian party on society predicted in the previous films.
Keanu might as well finish his career where it started. Take out the special effects and the Matrix series would be a dud. Anyone could of played Neo. He can’t act!!!
There’s a lot they can do with this if their clever. Hopefully it’s not lame.

yeah just wishful thinking, although pretty sure chuck was saved because of an online petition and the ground swell created from that.
Chuck was “saved” by ratings. There was a fan movement called “watch chuck” that encouraged fans to avoid recording the show and watching it love that gave it a boost.
Petitions have their place in proving community consensus but are so easily fraudulent that they are frequently dismissed out of hand. Online petitions serve only the website offering them and not their cause.

Anyway, joking aside, I doubt it would happen. Unless Bill & Ted’s kids are Named Bill Jr and Ted Jr., and the kids revive The band name. In place of Rufus (alas, PIP George Carlin) an EXCELLENT substitute would be Will Sadler reprising his Grim Reaper role- who OWNED Bogus Journey.
Darren I think the kids are called that.. at the end of Bogus they introduce the kids as little bill and little ted so not too far of a stretch to assume that’s their names.
Bring it on on!!!! The kiss song at the end of bogus, Grim Reaper playing twister and battleships come on totally awesome! I still manage to watch these every couple of years.

Online petitions are useless. Nothing has ever been changed as a result of an online petition. Might as well wish upon a star…

Do it! I’d see it. Also, Keanu seems way more relaxed here than when he’s acting. Too bad he can’t be so easy going and natural in character.
