Justin Bieber Biopic Happening, And In 3D!

Teen pop star, Justin Bieber, is coming soon to a cinema near you. Apparently, he will star as himself in the film. One that will tell how he rose to current stardom heights. Behold the Bieber trend!

IGN reports:

Deadline just broke some exclusive news: the fast times of Canadian pop sensation Justin Bieber will be hitting the big screen in 2011, in none other than eye-popping 3D.

Only sixteen years old, Bieber has risen to fame as a pop/R&B superstar, raking in more views on Youtube than any other artist. Fresh-faced and still in the midst of puberty, Bieber will play himself in this feature-length Paramount flick that documents the story of his life. The film, produced by Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun and Island Def Jam chairman L.A. Reid, will include recorded segments from Bieber’s current tour amongst other crucial Bieber moments of his short but very wealthy existence.

The director of An Inconvenient Truth, Davis Guggenheim, is in negotiations to direct this untitled project, which is set for a February 11, 2011 release.

I guess we can count this one as being a huge sign that the Apocalypse is actually pretty near, no? Seriously, I don’t know which one is worse. That he, at 16 years of age, will star in his own biopic? That a director like Guggenheim, who’s got an awesome track record, has decided to do this? Or that the movie itself will be in 3D? I’ll let you guys devour this one…

Do you want a 90 minute film about Bieber’s 16 years of life? Are you pumped up to see this in 3D?

  1. no thank you justin, you have been out for a year and you already want a life story movie? cant you go to teennick for that or something? should only be like 30-45mins long.

  2. The Diary of Justin Bieber aged 16 and who cares what!

I am sure all those young teens who idolise Bieber will queue up to get their tickets and turn it into the expected money spinner that the studios obviously think it is, even if I think it is a joke that at 16 someone has lived a life worth making a biopic about.

  3. I could care less about Justin Bieber, but does this HAVE to be on 3D? It’s a fucking biopic! I mean, really.
And anyways, what does he have to show us? It’s not like he’s led the life of Barrymore or something. Who wants to hear about a suburban, middle class, white kid that got into r&b and became famous cause he was cute?

  4. This is the ultimate vengeance. All those Canadian jokes are now coming back to us. Karma is a bitch, and yes this proves that the apocalypses is near. Forget Mayan calendars this is true evidence.

  5. Biopics, and 3d its almost the perfect combination. I’m just waiting for documentaries to be in 3d.(Maybe concert films should count but I’m not counting them)

  6. Who gives a shit about this kid? What has this kid ever done other than sing songs other people have wrote for him. I can’t wait until he’s 20 or so…his image will be completely different, he’ll be fucking girls left and right (or maybe guys who know what is sexuality really is), and he’ll be doing some type of drug. That would be interesting to see at least not this wholesome bullshit of his life set in 3D (coz there’s a need for this to be in 3D). Such a shame!
