Quick update here. Behold, now we can all go to sleep without any worries. Miss Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has been oficially confirmed for Transformer 3.
Director Michael Bay’s official website has confirmed that Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has landed the lead female role in Transformers 3. Huntington-Whiteley has worked with Bay before on his Victoria’s Secret “A Thousand Fantasies” ad.
Not much to say here. We’ve already talked about this some, but I just wanted to let you know that its official now. Remember how Fox got the part by washing Bay’s car? Well, apparently Rosie impressed Bay in the audition, by arriving in transparent lingerie to read lines with Shia. Even the sound guys approved. Lol. Classic.

But seriously, why are there human characters in this at all? And Rodney, this tells us a hell of a lot about the movie. It immediately tells us that Michael Bay is going only for sex appeal and not acting talent, which does not bode well for any movie. Don’t get all uppity when people say the movie is going to be bad from one piece of information. Seems like casting this woman leads to a high correlation of making a bad flick to me, haha.

What do you think he was doing when he cast Megan Fox in the film? Because of her acting? No. All Bay has done is replace a hot woman who can’t act with another hot woman who we assume can’t act.
It sounds to me like he could have his pick. She must be able to act. I hope we are all pleasently surprised.
I just don’t like it. We get rid of Megan Fox (or she left, whatever you believe), and we get a model with no acting experience whatsoever when we could have gotten, oh I don’t know, an actual actress? But then again it is Michael Bay
Lame story + another hot babe, just because he posed for Michael Bay in a Victoria’s Secret commercial + over the top but dizzying action sequences + unrecognizable Autobots or Decepticons + Michael Bay = awful Transformers 3 movie.
Um, we know nothing of the story, so how can you call it “lame”?
Yeah don’t really care if people are beginning to assume this movie will be horrible. Hot Babe (do people still say babe?-) check, Explosions- check, Optimus Prime that most awesomest transformer (next to Grimlock)- check and lots of action. Yep, still gonna watch it.
Ironically, it would be funny if she actually HAD acting talent. Being that she’s a super model doesn’t mean that she doesn’t have any talent to act.
We are only assuming, since she has never tried to be an actress.
This is shaping to somehow be worse than “Revenge of the Fallen,” if that’s possible.
You know nothing about the film short of this girl being the replacement for another eyecandy girl with little ability to act.

Christ! If this was the ONLY thing i knew about this movie i’d be pumped. Megafox never did it for me anyways. Besides if i want to see quality acting in between giant robot fight scenes i can just watch Josh Duhamel work his thespian wonders.
Even though it says lead female role, I hope to buddha that she doesnt have a lot of talking in this movie, it would be terribly terrible. I wonder if after she’s done talking, will she strike a pose and stare at the camera. Im pulling for Shia without the ball and chain campaign
