Zac Efron is proving to be able to outgrow his High School Musical Disney origins and expose that glimmer of talent I suspected he might be hiding in there. I always wondered if he was going to be a Mouse House star then fade to nothing when he was too old for those movies, or rise above it and it looks like this might be the one that shows us which.
Me & Orson Welles shows Efron has some chops and I don’t see a shred of his previous HSM persona in there at all. This is a completely different Efron.
And to top it all off. Claire Danes. Seriously stunning, and always a pleasure to watch.

I was into the trailer until I saw the text “From the director of School of Rock.” School of Rock was a disappointment and overrated piece of trash.
Oh, I’ll let him. But I’m still not impressed.
Leo did why not Efron and Leo is one of the best in the business.
Leo was a pretty boy loved the young girls while boys made fun and men said he was a faze. After Blood Diamond and Departed he is passing as drama actor that can play some dark roles and kick some ass along the way.
I laughed a lot watching ’17 Again’; there was a trailer for Orson Welles. Looks very promising. While for obvious reasons I cannot say how good or bad his performance will be, I can say that he should get props for the effort. It looks to me like he is attempting to mature as an actor. The only question is will people let him.
Yes they will, once he gets out of his High School Musical image which WILL be soon, since Hudgens is ditching her image for Sucker Punch, i think they’ll just ditch the series, so I think he’s up and coming
