Car Crash on Green Hornet Set Caught on Fan Video

Because it wouldn’t be right if the Green Hornet started to move smoothly now… one of the Hornet’s Black Beauty cars gets roughed up on the set shot.

An avid fan seems to have caught some of the footage of the car during a scene, and during a second take, the driver hits another car and then parks it firmly against a concrete barrier.

I hope they got the footage they needed on the first shot, as it might take a little bit of effort to get that car fixed. Pretty painful to watch a classic ride like that get pounded, especially on a shot where it looks like it wasn’t intended to get banged up.

After all the casting issues, directors, and even Nic Cage walking away from the project, I wonder if Seth saw the car get punched and just shrug and say “of course it did…”

  1. Man.. talk about things going bad on a single production. I mean, seriously… Who’s directing this thing, Terry Gilliam? Usually he’s the one who has this kind of luck.

  2. This is not something new, cars get totaled during film at times, when stunts are involved and I’m 100% sure they have many Black Beauty’s for back-up.

Anyone see Starsky and Hutch special features? They totaled the car tons of times.

      1. True, but I’m sure they are prepared incase something like this would happen. The Black Beauty will be going through some stunts, so it’s no brainer they would have back-ups….Well, unless the crew involved are morons.

      2. of course they have backup! if you shoot a scene with a car u NEED back up! for the last James Bond movie they had like 5 Aston Martin DBS and one fell in the Garda lake! ;-)
