Looks great to me. I can’t wait to see this in proper resolution, but I am just too trigger happy to wait. Ironically YouTube offers you the option of viewing this in High Quality. Amusing.

I’m as critical of the first movie as everyone else. There were some major flaws, but also some really great things happening. Here’s hoping the 2nd movie can do more things right. And the trailer looks badass.

I like and dislike the first one. But I accepted that there can’t be a perfect transformer movie. Too many details, too many things, too many opinions. I still collect the comic, would love to see the fallen and scorponok should definitely be there.
Oh, well my kid is speechless, so I guess I’ll be another parent going to the theaters. *sigh
thank God is still 4 bucks to the theater I go.
I loved the first one and can’t wait for the second one. Give me more action, more Optimus Prime and lets get this one going.
I didnt like the first, and this looks EXACTLY the same.
This one feels much darker and intense than the first. For the record-I really liked the first film.

I know a lot of people are still shit-talking the first Transformers, but honestly, I don’t see why.
Well I will honestly admit I love and hate the first movie. It was more about the humans battling alien robots then alien robots fighting alien robots. Many plot holes in the film, stupid jokes and bad acting. However, the time we see the Autobots and Decepticons fight each other was badass. Even if the fights were short lived and the camera was in a bad position or shaking. I did think the movie was good but flawed as hell. Better than what Transformers could have been if guys like Steven Spielburg and Michel Bay weren’t doing it. Remeber Masters of the Universe? So I’m looking at the first film as a test and the second should be much much better.
Bad writing, acting, directing, clunky action scenes, and so far I’ve seen nothing to really cause me to have any faith the sequel will be much better. Of course these are all my own personal opinions.
If you enjoyed the movie that is all that should truly matter to you, and you shouldn’t really concern yourself about what nay sayers have to say.
At 1:33 you can see Scorponok jumping over something at towards another transformer (the fallen?)
That is what I think too, based on the pictures we have seen of the Fallen. Maybe he resurrects Scorponok, left for dead in the desert in the first movie, and Scorponok, not realizing that this is basically the first Decepticon ever (according to the prequel comics so far), attacks him

Scorponok wasn’t left for dead in the first movie. After he’s shot at with the sable rounds and the end of his tail breaks off, he’s clearly seen burrowing back into the sands of the middle east.
Much like Barricade, he was forgotten in the rest of the movie (so they could bring him back in the sequal, as I imagine they will with Barricade)
Jeff, the adaptation of the movie stated that the creature was dead, after the altercation with Lennox’s unit, so I took that to mean Scorponok was not functioning anymore.
As for it being Jetfire, then that would have to be at the end of the movie when he turns Autobot since it is rumored he starts off as a Decepticon, discovered in a dormant state by of all people, Wheelie
you know people keep sayin its the fallen or jetfire that scorponok is jumping over, but you really cant see who it is from that shot other than its obviously not prime or bumblebee.

They did a good job of hiding the ethnic jokes, bodily function/sex jokes, and Megan Fox’s so-called acting.

The music from the trailer reminds me of John Carpenter’s The Thing.
I dont get you people who watch this and say this the same as the superbowl no its has alot more footage but hey maybe you are not excited as the rest of us to see this film.
im kinda excited for this but this trailer doesnt really have any huge noticeable differences from the superbowl one…besides that constructicon hitting helicopters all the best scenes in this trailer were in the superbowl trailer
It just seems longer then the Superbowl ad because of all the fade to black segments, slower pacing, and title screens.
Except this trailer also shows the Insecticons, The Fallen, a longer scene of Barricade being chased by Arcee, Paris being attacked, ships sinking, and Scorpinok attacking Jetfire.
Let me know if I missed anything else.

You could have told me that was a trailer for the first movie and I wouldnt have known the difference.
Anyone else find it “odd” that at the end of the trailer after it say “Revenge is Coming” that it shows a very jagged pic of the Decepticon emblem?
In the trailers for TF1 they showed both Autobot and Decepticon logos, but now they’re just showing the Decepticons. Maybe I’m just reading too much into things, but I think that its one of Bay’s subliminal messages ;)
Again it makes me happy to see more transformers screen time then humans. Some scenes were hard to tell if I seen Devastator or just the same decepticon. Also intrestingly enough you only see bumblebee and optimus. Could this be a hint that the rest of the autobot could be killed later leaving room for more autobots at the end?

The Superbowl spot was 30 seconds. This is 2 minutes and 15 seconds. Obviously there’s lots of more stuff in this.

no fallen and no devastator that i could pick out. only the one-wheel excavator guy that we’ve seen before. this trailer may be longer but… there may be more stuff but not any more STUFF than the superbowl trailer… unless i missed something. I think we’ve reached the wall of what they’re going to reveal until it’s “go time”.
and am i the only one that was just waiting for one of those aircraft carriers to transform…?
this is just a thought, but i think the one who gives prime his ass kicking in the trailer is the fallen.

looks like more visually complicated and dizzy confusion. hope they redeem themselves after the mess that was the first movie. too much nonsense and blurry camera action the first time. hope they get at least something right in this one
