Wolverine says not to worry about Reshoots

Hugh Jackman has wrestled himself free of the frozen tundra known as the Canadian Winter to let us all know that these “reshoots” are just stuff they missed. And that Wolverine will be a good movie.

Latino Review quotes an email apparently sent from Jackman himself:

I wanted to reach out and let you know that due to scheduling conflicts with certain cast members and location/weather considerations, we had to wait until now to shoot a couple of scenes. Please rest assured that WOLVERINE will be badass and hopefully meet all of your expectations. I am stoked by the positive response to the teaser, which clearly reflects the tone and scope of the film. If you like that, we’ve got much more in store!

I like that Jackman appears to be reaching out to the fanbase. It really makes me think that this guy really likes his job and knows he has it because of the fans. He took it personally when the reshoot buzz started to tarnish the already ramping internet excitement.

I hope he is dead on accurate about these shoots being rescheduled shoots and not reshoots to resolve some artistic discrepencies between Gavin Hood and Fox.

I was holding my breath on that assumption and I can only hope that it will be talked about later as a “remember when we thought Wolverine would suck because of reshoots”
