We have discovered the release dates for Clint Eastwood’s new film Changeling. We get the following scoop thanks to the informative caves of Yahoo:
Borrowing a page from the successful 2003 release of “Mystic River,” Universal will debut Clint Eastwood’s latest movie, “Changeling,” in limited release October 24, followed by a wide expansion a week later on October 31.
“Changeling” stars Angelina Jolie in the true story of a single mom in 1920s Los Angeles whose son goes missing; when the police return her son to her, she insists they’ve found the wrong boy, and her case becomes a cause celebre. Eastwood directed the film from a script by J. Michael Straczynski.
There you have it folks! If you are hurting for a Clint film, October will be here before you know it! I am not sure if a movie about a single mother and her lost child is the type of film that I want from Mr. Eastwood, but I do enjoy him as a director and am willing to check it out.
I know its not REALLY related, but it reminds me of a book called “The Stolen Child” by Keith Donohue. That book was more fantasy/fiction and it looks like this film is based more on true life/crime.
They should do a movie on Donohue’s book:

Should be a good flick, and probably one of his last. He has contributed much to Hollywood.
