6th Dark Knight TV Spot

We have a 6th Dark Knight TV spot to show those of you that are interested. We get the hookup thanks to the good people over at You Tube:

The more of this film I see, the better Heath Ledger looks in the role of the Joker. I was a person that was skeptical at his inclusion when I first heard wind of his casting. From what I have seen thus far, it looks like he will prove my initial assumptions to be very, very wrong. The Joker is as iconic as a super villain gets, and it looks like Ledger has nailed it.

  1. Glad to see you warming up to Ledger’s Joker. I was a fan since day one – and to those that say he will be no Nicholson, give it up already – he may not be what you WANT, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t nail it. And keep in mind this is a TOTALLY different film/films in comparison to Burton’s.

  2. As for “I hope they don’t kill the Joker”.

I totally hope Batman does. With Ledger gone, I really don’t want to see someone try to mimic his take on the character or do their own take on it for the next movie. We have plenty of other very good villains in the Batman franchise to explore. Batman has, without a doubt, the best group of characters all around. Spiderman and Superman and others have a couple good villains and not much more.

As Joker says in the trailer “Your gonna break your one rule”….Batman responds “I count on it”. Only thing that comes to mind as Batman’s one rule would be to not kill.

  3. finaljoe

I think Ledger is completely overracting… if that was at all possible with The Joker.

That’s how a real joker act, so if u didnt know then this movie isn’t for u knowing u probably look at him as a overeacting character !

  4. it’s not a question of better, just better-fitted to the tone of each movie. ledger’s joker is better for the darker tone of nolan’s batman. nicholson’s is better for dancing in a museum to a prince song.

  5. Oh I so hope that Two face just shows up at the end…that this movie is a conflict between two of the biggest icons in comics…THE JOKER VS. THE BATMAN!!!

And I also hope that they don’t kill off the Joker! Please don’t kill off the Joker!!! We’ve got to see Batman haul him in to ARKHAM!

  6. i still cant believe you guys gave wanted a 9 and the hulk a 6.

this batman at least looks good- beter then fucking george clooney and jack nicholson as the joker

and i know that people hate the new batman suit but i like it more then the one from the forst movie (must i remind you of the nipple suit from batman forever?)

  7. (Type your comment here. Make sure you’ve read the commenting rules before doing so)Sorry…was it me or did that truck CGI bit near the end ruin the whole tv spot?? It looked really fake!! maybe its just me but it looked really bad, anyone else agree?

Apart from that, looks (and will be) the best film of the summer!!!

  8. words cannot begin to describe how amazing this looks and how much I’m anticipating this film! Ledger, Nolan, and Co. nailed the look, feel, style, tone, and overall feel of the character! Now in this most recent trailer where we get to hear even more of the Joker I’ve gotta say the voice and line delivery are as perfect as i could have hoped!!!!! EPIC WIN!
