Of course this should be a TV show and NOT a FILM – Its nice to want to watch adaptions on the big screen of course and some books can work like that.

Preacher isnt one of them its needs to be on HBO or SHOWTIME and given a few seasons to run out the plot – not even all the Preacher filler stuff , just the main story.

To try and cram that into a movie of a couple of hours or espect people to wanna watch a 3 hour version or harder – split into several sequals is crazy.

A tv show would give the makers a chance to tell the book right and not rushed.

Too many films suffer from this including I reck the Y-The Last Man film in work now.

When some TV shows run for 3 or 4 years or longer why not tell an epic story properly?

  2. As far as Jeff Daniels’ acting talent, just pick up a copy of “The Lookout”. He was spectacular in it.

With the film industry moving away from Toronto? Being an inhabitant of this fine city (which it really is), it is easy for me to say that it is too fucking expensive to be in this city. When the mayor pouts over not getting his 3 million dollar office overhaul because taxpayers don’t want to pony up the cash, you know there is a problem.
