Clearly the Ironman buzz is really got my head turning lately, but a Wolverine movie looks like it could rock too.

So what projects are you all hopped up about?

  1. Aside from being pumped for Iron Man next year?

I would like to see Ant-Man; HOWEVER let me clarify this. I want an AVENGERS movie with Pym as the lead her; Scott Lang (Ant Man II) Janet VanDyne (Wasp;Pym’s one time wife) and either Hawkeye, or Simon Williams. They fight Ultron…and Vision, who later joins the team.

But Kurt is still right about Wright.

Other than that, I would like to see A Captian America MINISERIES on TV or have films do a Lord Of The Rings and have serial like cliffhangers. I’d like then them to work in a small bit of The Invaders (that’s a heavy wish list, you understand) and Bucky Barnes without the mask/Rawhide getup. Then Cap either gets cased in ice or goes through the Philly Expieriment and wakes up around this time when the nation proclaims he’s dead.

    What isn’t mentioned:

I’d still want A Namor film, and Morbius. As if they ever will happen.

  2. Robert(Wolf), the Wolverine movie will be standalone and separate from the XMen movies.

Talk of the 4th XMen movie is actually going to exclude a great deal of the current XCast, and start with a new generation of students.

  3. I’d like to see Thor. Only because I’ve never seen him on the big screen. I’ve seen him in cartoons and Adventures in Babysitting, Incredible Hulk, – that’s about it. Marvel, just make sure I don’t laugh at whatever you come up with.

  4. I don’t really think that Nick Fury should have his own movie. I think he should just appear as an important character in every Marvel movie we see.
And I think that in order to make all of these movies appeal to fans is that they need to make a good success with the Avengers film. And right then and there I have to say is that they NEED to base the film almost exactly on the Ultimates comic book series. If they did, (plus add in Michael Bay as director as I said whom should replace Tim Story for the next FF movie) it would make more money than all of the Spider-man films put together. I must say, having read The Ultimates vols 1 & 2 and Ultimates 2 vols 1 & 2 they both would bring in all of the good superheroes we know plus most of the others we have met in movies before.

  5. I’m looking forward to Thor and Captain America. Those were 2 of my favorite comics (though it’s been about 12 years).

I do worry about Thor that they’ll feel they have to get less mythological (more like Thunderstike) to appeal to a wide audience. He is the “God Of Thunder” after all.

I know that many don’t feel that Captain America is relevant, and wouldn’t make a good movie in today’s world. It could be a period movie, and take place during WW2…Red Skull and all. But, they also touch on the sentiment of him being out of place in the world in the Ultimate Avengers cartoon movie. That type of story could work also.

  6. I love these things. I was under the impression that the Iron Man cartoon was done and already aired in France. As for the movies, looking forward too them all. Ant-Man is going to be interesting. Avengers isn’t going to happen

Spider-Man musical, haha. Well it worked for Superman
