Over the last few months I’ve put up a couple of stories about the upcoming Ping-Pong comedy “Balls Of Fury“, in which the lead villain is played by Christopher Walken… and his name… is FANG! Tell me this doesn’t already have “Oscar” written all over it!
But seriously folks, in case you haven’t heard about Balls Of Fury, here’s the synopsis:
In this secret society, the competition is brutal; the stakes are high; and the balls–more often than not–are white. Welcome to the unsanctioned, underground, and utterly unhinged world of clandestine Ping-Pong tournaments. Down-and-out former professional ping-pong phenom, Randy Daytona, is sucked into this maelstrom when FBI Agent Rodriguez recruits him for a secret mission. Randy is determined to bounce back and win, and to smoke out his father’s killer–arch-fiend Feng.
Sounds like a bit of a Dodgeball rehash… but whatever… as long as it’s funny.
Well, the Balls of Fury trailer is now up and online and ready for your media consumption. Take a peek at it and let us know what you think. My opinion… well… I like the trailer… but not as much as I was hoping I would. We’ll have to wait and see. But man, how great does Walken look!!!

My God, is there any role Walken cannot play? Even his short role in Poolhall Junkies was a standout.
