I don’t care what anyone else says. I LOVED ZOOLANDER! I laughed my fool ass off so many times in that film is defies belief. Yes it’s dumb, yes it’s an insult to our intelligence… but it… made… me… laugh. And that’s all that counted. I loved the characters and the gags were fantastic (who didn’t spit their pop out when the guys had the gasoline fight at the pumps and killed themselves??? I mean seriously!).
For for people like me, the news coming out of MovieHole today is nothing but a big bowl full of wonderful. Owen Wilson has revealed that he and Ben Stiller have already started talking about Zoolander 2. Here’s the scoop:
Moviehole talked to Owen Wilson today – in Australia to promote the smash hit comedy “Wedding Crashers” who revealed that he and Ben Stiller are in talks to do a sequel to the 2000 comedy hit “Zoolander”. “We’re talking about that now”, says Wilson, assuring us that it wouldn’t be a sequel without “Hansel”.
Yeah, sign me up. Zoolander still sits atop my favorite Frat Pack movies (even more than other goods ones like Dodgeball, Wedding Crashers and Old School). Oh man I hope this one gets made. It would sure beat the hell out of a Starsky and Hutch 2.

Yes! The Butterscotch Stallion rides again! Zoolander is by far my favorte Ben Stiller movie, and Will Ferrel just made it as Mugatu. I hope he gets a part in the new one as well.

Normally a sequel to a comedy is not a good idea. But we’re talking Zoolander, one of the funniest movies in the last 10 years, here. BRING IT ON!!

sequels are still pretty lazy, when u create something good, like men in black or fast and the furious and u make a good profit, u shouldnt be a shmuck and do a sequel just for the sake of making more money, especially if its been a couple years, how about challenging yourself and actually earning your bmws and beverly hills mansions and find something new and just as good if not better. i think its a slap in the face being fed all this sequel bulls***…do u think i have no brain and not know what ur doing? or that i dont have the capacity to take on something new? its pathetic, they’ll sequelize anything, they might just do passion of the christ 2, who knows.
but some sequels are good, like terminator 2..better than the first one i thought
i’ll probably end up seeing this one but i HEAVILY DOUBT it will be up to calibur with the first one and its “who am i?” “*cough cough* merman!” and ” d-a-i-y-e spa”
Oh, I don’t think “Zoolander” was a dumb movie at all. It made fun of people’s attitude towards celebrity and fashion in really clever ways. Plus, it was so hilarious. I’m so happy they’re doing a sequel.
I loved Zoolander! They have to bring back Will Ferrell and Jerry Stiller though. The sequal would be nothing without Mugatu and Maury Ballstein.
whoah whoah whoah, wait, what happened to Dumb and Dumber is the sequel was a prequel and they didn’t spend any time on the story or finding good actors. The only funny thing they could squeak in are the shit scenes. There was something funnny about Bob Saget screaming about shit being everywhere.
Zoolander 2 is not going to be anything like that, and Dumb and Dumber was never ruined. Real fans can pretend the 2nd movie never even happened and live happliy ever after, the end.

Ben Stillers movies have a certain charm and originality that you can’t help but fall in love with. Like other Ben Stiller films, Zoolander was a worthy one. But a Zoolander 2? Could the charm still be there after the 1st movie? Well the first was funny, the second should be as well. DO IT UP, WE’RE READY! OH DEAR GOD YES!!!!
