This is really one for the UK readers out there, and only those who think Ant & Dec are funny TV presenters and have managed to bring the word entertainment back to Saturday evening television. For those of you who aren’t UK TV viewers, these guys present TV, and they’re funny. They have great charisma, a smooth style between each other and just seem so natural on screen, and if something goes wrong, they’ll just make it funny and keep going. You might have seen them in Love Actually.
According to Sky:
The cheeky Geordie duo, who have dominated Britis telly for five years, clearly have loftier ambitions and have opted to join up with the man behind hit Channel 4 show Shameless.
They will play a pair of saddo space creature hunters who claim they have discovered martians in Shaun Of The Dead-style spoof Alien Autopsy, directed by Jonny Campbell.
Both will produce footage they claim is of extra-terrestrial beings in a hilarious storyline, reports The Sun.
Well the content of the movie sounds poor, but I hope for their sakes it isn’t. I’d really like to see their natural onscreen talents in front of the movie camera, but they really have to make sure it’s the right vehicle for them.
Haha. I bet it’s shit, but it’s Ant and Dec so I guess I’ll check it out.

hmmm. i hear the write was the guy who does “my parents are aliens” for ITV – a kids comedy show thats actually written pretty well. the comment above suggests a need for british comedy films that may not be that healthy. we have made lots of stunnign TV comedy shows, and yoiure better off going there than the movies we make in that genre…
I don’t know these guys, but if it’s half as good as Shaun of the Dead, it will be great.
