Sad news that the writer of Halloween and successful Producer Debra Hill has passed away.
Her many successes include the writing of the first Halloween movie and then a continuing collaboration with John Carpenter on such projects as Escape from New York, the LA sequel, The Fog and it’s remake which she was working on, as well as a number of Halloween sequels.
She also worked on The Fisher King, The Dead Zone and more recently she was working on a project about…
…the last two men pulled from the rubble of the Twin Towers following the 11 September terror attacks in 2001.

Very sad- on ‘the fog’ dvd extras her and John Carpenter were quite the team. She was quite an accomplished writer and producer and will be missed.
