Terminator Salvation Motion Poster

Posted by on 26. 11. 2008in News Chat

For those of you that haven’t seen the motion poster in action – please go to the official Sony site to see it for yourslef. Below is the poster at the end of the animation. The motion poster is a cool idea for a web ad and I think we will see more of this sort of thing in the future. Now I need to find out how to embed them here.

Thanks to IESB for the heads up.

I can imagine this kind of posters animated in walls, windows etc in few years. Maybe tv-screens first and later electronic paper.

  9. Dutch says:

Better than that one with the bullet-hole between the eyes. That’s not saying a lot.

  10. Gutpunch says:

The thing is that they can make this as a poster to hang on the wall. They can actually embed 8 seconds of footage in a piece of paper with the current lenticular technology.
If they do this will be one sought after motherfucker.

  11. Nixon says:

  12. HAZMAT_loves_gwyneth_paltrow says:

Lol, i overlooked Christopher’s name and thought it said “Christopher Nolan”

lol, but the poster is beyond amazing

I don’t get the obsession with human-form cyborgs. Surely, the super-intelligent computers can come up with better designs of killing machines than the human body with its shortcomings. I would like to see a shapeless terror more akin to the T-2, which I think was the best movie of the whole franchise.
