Gary Busey wants to make things right with Jennifer Garner after the infamous hug and smooch on the red carpet. The following apology was found scrawled in the fabled caves of Yahoo:
“I meant no disrespect to Ms. Jennifer Garner when I met her at the Oscars and apologize if I made her uncomfortable,” the 63-year-old actor said in a statement e-mailed Monday by a publicist for his attorney, Vicki Roberts.
“I simply greeted both actresses with joy and open arms, which is the way I would greet anyone I’m happy to meet,” Busey said. “Everyone has experienced a handshake or hug which has turned awkward, and this was no different.”
Seeing Busey interact with people is like watching a feral animal have tea with the Queen; you it isn’t going to go well, and some shit may get broken. Busey does not ask, he takes. If Busey wants to let you know that he cares for you – he will hug you and kiss your neck. He is a force of nature that is unconcerned with standard morality. Busey is a raging wildfire of emotion and drunkenness, and trying to stop him is like trying to cage the wind. Busey may make you uncomfortable at times; but Busey will be Busey.
It was kind of Busey to apologize, and nice to know that this is how he would greet anyone. May the open arms of Busey be a healing salve to the nations. They should put Busey on a bus and get him to hug across America, and then the globe. Lets turn this unfortunate incident into one of hope. Let us all share in the embrace of Busey.

I do not love Gary Busey unless he’s getting his colon punched out by Steven Seagal.
I can’t help but be delighted by any news involving Gary Busey. His charm and charisma really shined throughout this whole incident with Jennifer Garner.
His antics in the media are a great way to stay in the spotlight and I hope he can continue to entertain us in movies and TV. If I were him I’d milk it for all it’s worth and start hugging and kissing every hot female celebrity that he meets.

Speaking of Busey, last Friday, my wife and I watched “Rookie of the Year”, a film in which Busey plays a major role. The entire film was accompanied by a running commentary by myself, with every changing emotion in Busey’s acting spectrum receiving outbursts such as “Ohh, man, the wrath of Busey is coming.” or “The determination of Busey will win the game. Look, Busey’s making it happen.” It made the children’s film come to life in a new way, and I recommend that anyone watching films with the beloved Busey in the future use this method to enhance their viewing experience.
