Lionsgate has announced that the martial arts action film The Furious will be available to purchase and rent on digital platforms and On Demand beginning July 7, 2026. The film, which promises an explosive showdown, brings together a notable cast of genre favorites.
The story follows Wang Wei, played by Xie Miao, who embarks on a desperate mission to rescue his daughter after she is kidnapped by a criminal network. When local authorities fail to provide assistance, Wei takes matters into his own hands. He eventually finds an ally in Navin, portrayed by Joe Taslim, a journalist searching for his own missing wife. Together, the two men navigate a dangerous path of vengeance.
