Oxygen has officially announced the return of its true crime series The Real Murders of Atlanta, which is set to premiere its fourth season on Saturday, July 11, at 8pm ET/PT. The upcoming season will consist of ten new episodes exploring homicide cases within the city.
The series continues to focus on the intersection of Atlanta’s growing industries and the criminal activity that sometimes follows. Each episode features firsthand accounts from detectives, journalists, and the loved ones of victims to examine the impact of these crimes on the community. The show explores themes of wealth, status, and power, highlighting the darker side of the city’s rapid development.
What to Expect in Season 4
The new season promises a variety of investigations, ranging from a violent shootout at a recording studio to the mysterious discovery of remains near Halloween. Other cases include the investigation into the death of a homecoming queen and a complex undercover operation triggered by a mother’s disappearance.
