WWE Raw traveled to Paris, France, on Monday night with King and Queen of the Ring tournament action, two championship matches, and a packed crowd that made its presence felt throughout the evening.
The June 8 edition of Netflix WWE Monday Night Raw featured major tournament developments, a successful Intercontinental Championship defense by Penta, and a statement victory from Je’Von Evans in the main event.
Oba Femi Opens Raw
Oba Femi kicked off the show to a thunderous reaction from the Paris crowd.
The reigning powerhouse declared his intention to win the King of the Ring tournament and reiterated his desire for a rubber match with Brock Lesnar. Dominik Mysterio interrupted and claimed he would be the one advancing through the tournament.
JD McDonagh attempted to help Mysterio gain an advantage, but Femi quickly neutralized both men. After shrugging off a chair attack and a 619, Femi tossed Mysterio across the ring and stood tall to end the confrontation.
Queen of the Ring Quarterfinal Match
Alexa Bliss vs. Chelsea Green vs. Liv Morgan vs. Becky Lynch

The first tournament match of the evening featured four former champions battling for a place in the Queen of the Ring semifinals.
Each competitor had opportunities to take control as the action moved rapidly between all four women. Chelsea Green nearly stole the spotlight with several timely counters, while Becky Lynch and Alexa Bliss delivered several near falls.
In the closing moments, Liv Morgan capitalized on the chaos and secured the victory.
Result: Liv Morgan defeated Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, and Chelsea Green

Women’s Intercontinental Championship Match
Sol Ruca (c) vs. Lyra Valkyria
Sol Ruca made her first defense of the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against the inaugural champion, Lyra Valkyria.
The two competitors exchanged momentum throughout the contest. While there were a few moments of miscommunication early, both women found their rhythm as the match progressed.
Valkyria mounted several comeback attempts, but Ruca ultimately connected with the Sol Snatcher to retain her championship.

LA Knight Addresses King of the Ring
LA Knight appeared in the ring to discuss the upcoming King of the Ring tournament quarterfinals.
Knight referenced Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Finn Balor, and Royce Keys while making it clear that he intends to win the tournament and earn a future championship opportunity.
Jey Uso interrupted the segment, leading to a tense exchange before Jimmy Uso arrived to prevent the confrontation from escalating further.
Intercontinental Championship Match
Penta (c) vs. Rey Mysterio

Two of lucha libre’s most recognizable stars met with the Intercontinental Championship on the line.
The match delivered high-energy action from the opening bell, with both competitors showcasing their trademark offense. Mysterio came close to victory on multiple occasions, but Penta continued to find answers.
After a lengthy battle that spanned two commercial breaks, Penta connected with the Mexican Destroyer to retain the title.

Following the match, Ethan Page and Rusev attacked both competitors before Dragon Lee rushed to the ring to make the save.
King of the Ring Quarterfinal Match
Je’Von Evans vs. Seth Rollins vs. Talla Tonga vs. Ricky Saints
The night’s main event featured four competitors from very different stages of their careers competing for a spot in the King of the Ring semifinals.
Talla Tonga used his size advantage to dominate stretches of the match, while Seth Rollins and Je’Von Evans briefly aligned against the larger threat. Ricky Saints also found several opportunities to seize momentum throughout the contest.
Late in the match, Austin Theory interfered and prevented Rollins from securing the victory. Montez Ford chased Theory away, but Bron Breakker arrived moments later and delivered a Spear to Rollins.
The distraction opened the door for Evans, who connected with the OG Cutter to earn the biggest victory of his tournament run.
Result: Je’Von Evans defeated Seth Rollins, Talla Tonga, and Ricky Saints
Evans advances to the King of the Ring semifinals.
What’s Next?
The Paris crowd provided one of the loudest atmospheres of the year as Raw continued building toward the later rounds of the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments.
Liv Morgan and Je’Von Evans moved one step closer to tournament glory, while Penta and Sol Ruca successfully defended their championships. Meanwhile, Oba Femi continued to establish himself as one of WWE’s fastest-rising stars heading into next week’s semifinal showdown with Dominik Mysterio.
