The road to WWE King and Queen of the Ring is heating up as the first finalists for the 2026 tournaments have been confirmed. Following the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, the bracket for the upcoming premium live event is beginning to take shape.
In the women’s division, IYO SKY secured her spot in the final after defeating Raquel Rodriguez. SKY previously advanced through a competitive four-way match against Roxanne Perez, Giulia, and Lash Legend, while Rodriguez earned her place by overcoming Bayley, Jacy Jayne, and Kiana James. SKY will now head to WWE Night of Champions to face the winner of the second semi-final match between Liv Morgan and Charlotte Flair.
Tournament Stakes and Future Implications
The winner of the Queen of the Ring tournament will earn a championship opportunity at SummerSlam, with the chance to challenge for either the WWE Women’s Championship or the Women’s World Championship. These titles are currently held by Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan, respectively.
On the men’s side, the tournament remains in progress. The eventual winner of the King of the Ring bracket will move on to challenge for either the Undisputed WWE Championship or the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam. Those titles are currently held by Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. The King of the Ring final at Night of Champions will feature the winner of the Oba Femi versus Dominik Mysterio match against the winner of the bout between Jey Uso and Je’Von Evans.
These tournament structures continue to provide a clear path for rising stars and established veterans alike to secure marquee matches at one of the biggest events of the summer. Fans can look forward to seeing which competitors will round out the final brackets as the road to SummerSlam continues.
