Star Studded Cast Returns for The Celebrity Traitors Season Two

The BBC has confirmed that the hit reality series The Celebrity Traitors will return for a second season. All‑Star Lineup Revealed

The Last of Us Season 2 Episode 4

The new cast reads like a who’s who of British entertainment. Bella Ramsey, known for her role in The Last of Us, joins the competition. She will sit beside Michael Sheen, famed for his work on Good Omens, and Oscar nominee Richard E. Grant. Both actors bring drama experience that will heighten the tension.

Other notable participants include Myha’la from Industry, Barbie actress Sharon Rooney, and Love Island host Maya Jama. Comedy fans will recognize Jerry Hall, the model who once married Mick Jagger, and veteran actress Julie Hesmondhalgh from Broadchurch. The full roster also features James Acaster, James Blunt, Joanne McNally, Joe Lycett, King Kenny, Leigh‑Anne Pinnock, Miranda Hart, Professor Hannah Fry, Rob Beckett, Romesh Ranganathan, Ross Kemp, Sebastian Croft and Amol Rajan.

Why Viewers Love the Show

Season one attracted an average audience of 14.9 million viewers, with a peak of 15.4 million for the finale. The show’s blend of celebrity interaction and a classic “traitor” game keeps fans guessing. Comedian Alan Carr won the first season after a dramatic showdown that featured Stephen Fry and Celia Imrie.

Production Details

Studio Lambert Scotland produces the series for BBC One and iPlayer. The project is overseen by commissioning head Kalpna Patel‑Knight. Executive producers Mike Cotton, Sarah Fay, Lewis Thurlow and Katy Fox manage the All3Media‑backed production. Production executives Lynette Woods‑Reynolds, Gemma Scholes and Faye Donaldson handle day‑to‑day operations. BBC commissioning editors Neil McCallum and Michael Jochnowitz supervise the final product.

The format originates from the Dutch series De Verraders, created by IDTV and RTL Creative Unit. All3Media International serves as the global partner, handling format sales worldwide.

What to Expect This Year

Fans can expect more intense gameplay, surprise alliances, and dramatic reveals. The Scottish setting adds a gothic backdrop that enhances the mystery. As the cast gathers at Ardross Castle, viewers will watch personalities clash, secrets unfold, and betrayals surface.

Season two is slated to debut later this year on BBC One and iPlayer. The network promises fresh twists and a larger audience reach. Whether you follow the stars on social media or enjoy classic reality competition, the new season offers plenty of reasons to tune in.
