Pedro Pascal Calls Out Alan Cumming Over Avengers Doomsday Leak
On a recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Pedro Pascal, who plays Mister Fantastic, turned the tables on Alan Cumming after a Marvel-related spoiler slip. The actor playfully roasted Cumming for previously leaking details about a scene in Avengers: Doomsday involving Nightcrawler and Reed Richards.
The Leak Heard Around Marvel
Alan Cumming, known for portraying Nightcrawler in the X-Men franchise, served as the guest host for the episode. During an interview segment, he asked Pascal and his co-stars Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach if it was hard to keep Marvel secrets.
Pascal didn’t miss a beat. He shot back by asking if it was hard for Cumming himself, referencing the actor’s accidental reveal back in May. At the time, Cumming hinted at a major fight scene between Nightcrawler and Mister Fantastic in the upcoming film, which caused quite a stir in the Marvel fandom.
Cumming Faces the Fallout
After the leak, Cumming reportedly received a scolding from Marvel Studios. During the talk show appearance, he joked about the ordeal, saying that his publicist called him in a panic. “It wasn’t the wrath of Kevin Feige,” he said, “but the wrath of my publicist—and that’s worse.”
