Bradley Cooper is NOT the Man From U.N.C.L.E.

It was previously reported that Brad Cooper had an interest and was under consideration to take on the role of Solo for Steven Soderbergh in “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.”, and quite a few A-list names have already passed on the project with Brad Cooper becoming latest name to be included on that list of those uninterested.

…Cooper has dropped out of talks to play Solo, despite Variety reporting a few weeks back that Cooper was “likely to accept” after his agents had fought hard to get him the offer. Cooper would’ve been stepping into a character originated by Robert Vaughn in the original show.

It’s not often that I hear so many names passing on a Steven Soderbergh movie. For a while there I was convinced that Soderberge and George Clooney were inseparable, so I wonder why he didn’t jump at another opportunity to work with the guy. I’m really more surprised the Cooper turned down the role as I thought he too may want an opportunity to create success with Soderbergh, but something made him decide to pass on the opportunity. Very curious.

Since Clooney, Johnny Depp, Matt Damon, and now Brad Cooper have all passed on the role, who’s gonna be our man from U.N.C.L.E.?
