Sharp Teeth could mark Danny Boyle’s return to horror

It is possible that Oscar winning director Danny Boyle will re-team with his Slumdog Millionare and 127 Hours writer Simon Beaufoy for an upcoming horror action film called ‘Sharp Teeth’, which concerns a werewolf gang in LA.Slashfilm reports:

Beaufoy says he’s at work on his next screenplay — an adaptation of Toby Barlow’s darkly comedic horror poetry novel Sharp Teeth — and if he has his way, Boyle will be directing it

The question is when and if this gets made, not if Boyle can handle horror- one possible film on his plate is a return to the 28 Days Later franchise- but availability overall.

We will find out- but regardless of who might be behind this, are we really eager for a werewolf gangland film?
