Enter The Void – Trailer

Enter The Void is about a Drug-Dealing teen who over doses and dies in Japan. But keeping a promise to his sister that he’d never leave her, he returns as a ghost to watch over her.

The trailer itself is a trip and makes you feel like you’re on whatever crazy drugs the character is on. Seems really interesting and with 2 wins and 2 nominations in the Indie circuit it’s definitely worth a watch.

  1. Jesus christ guys! It’s Gaspar Noe! He’s one of France’s most intimidating directors. The last two full length releases are some of the beautiful/controversial films released in ages. Check out Irreversible and I Stand Alone. This is standout and so worth seeing. I caught an early screening and this movie is outstanding. Hopefully, there’s a bigger release so I can see it again. Noe’s films are best seen on the big screen.

    1. Ok. Maybe he is an intimidating director with beautiful and controversial films that will change my life… but that trailer was nothing to get excited about. If it hadn’t been for the info blip by Dan i’d have absolutely no idea what this movie was about or that it was even a movie at all.

  2. What the heck was that? I’m sorry, but that trailer was the worst trailer I’ve seen in months. It looked like it was low-budget 80’s TV movie. I was waiting for at least one more image between “The” and “Void” that would by chance redeem this thing–but nothing. Maybe the art was lost on me, but it was just dumb.

Did we watch the same trailer? All I got out of it was an affirmation that he overdosed. If I didn’t know the synopsis, I’d say that IMO that was a pretty bland teaser.
