Here’s some pictures from the Captain America set that have surfaced online. Apparently the set was or is, located within Bourne Woods in Farnham, Surrey. Captain America’s movie will focus on the early days of the Marvel Universe when Steve Rogers volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America. The Joe Johnston-directed adaptation is now filming for a July 22, 2011 release. The film stars Chris Evans, Hayley Atwell, Hugo Weaving, Sebastian Stan, Toby Jones, Samuel L. Jackson, Dominic Cooper, Tommy Lee Jones, Stanley Tucci and Neal McDonough.

Nothing big or wow, but enough to keep us entertained and intrigued for more. I like the vibe I’m getting from these shots. I’m pretty confident that Joe Johnston will deliver a great Captain America adaptation. Now, can we get a show of Evans in suit, or some footage?! Please!
