Four New Star Trek Posters Online

The more I hear about the new Star Trek Reboot, the more excited I get. Thats hard for me to really admit being a die hard Star Wars fan (we are obligated to bag on Trek stuff while we secretly like it too) So to see Paramount show a little love to the supporting cast in the form of four promotional posters that combine to reveal the iconic logo just ramps it up one more step.

MovieWeb describes it:

The new posters form the Star Trek delta emblem when put together, but they also stand on their own. The new posters reveal John Cho (Sulu), Simon Pegg (Scotty), Karl Urban (McCoy) and Anton Yelchin (Chekov).

I love how they are not going to let the supporting cast blend into obscurity and focus solely on the primary three officers.

Trek was popular because of its entire cast even if it did take Shatner 25 years to realize it.

  1. In this picture Pegg looks more like Sam Neill than anybody else. If it appears to you like Michael Ironside or Kevin Pollack you really need to turn the brightness up on your screen.

  2. The script is awesome, but very cheesy in spots.

And it is just all about Kirk and Spock, sorry to disappoint. Scotty doesn’t show up till the last 40 minutes and Nero (Eric Bana) has maybe 20 minutes of screentime.

And lets not forget the film was shot when the writers strike was in full swing so what is on the page WILL be on the screen, ver batim.

  3. The Scotty poster looks like absolute shit ! The hairstyle isn’t rockin me.

Chekov, has the perfect anorexic “But Keptin” look on his “face”.

Urban, might just steal this film,,,,, he’s fraken great !! As McKoy !!!!!

Cho, I love the guy,!!! He’s a little bit Harry Kim, but alot of Sulu,,,soooluuuu.

  4. Ive never liked star treck..i think it was lame. but depending on how cool the trailer looks on this one i might watch it.
i cant say anything about it yet..

but this IS a very cool poster…
