When people are covered in writing – it just looks awesome. It looks creepy as hell, and you know some powerful occult magic is about to happen. The scene in Conan The Barbarian where they cover his body in script and bring him back from the edge of death is just fantastic. In the above poster it looks like the fella is covered in text using blood instead of ink; and that is outstanding.
Book Of Blood currently has a UK release date of December 1, 2008; we will be sure to keep you up to speed on the progress.

That was a great tag line. Can’t wait to see this. Good to have some Barker movies coming out soon.
I wish they’d used the old tag line:
‘We are all books of blood. Whenever we are opened, we are red.’
Wonder what the script is like. This is a very short story in Barker’s
book, more of a framing device for the other stories.
The plot would need a lot of fleshing out to fill a feature film.
