We have a brand spankin’ new Diary Of The Dead Poster. Thanks to our friends at the movieweb for the hookup!
I enjoy Zombies. The slow walkers creep towards you in an unending, maddening fashion until you are eventually overcome. Then your skull is cracked like a walnut and your sweet, sweet brains are devoured like a dish of jelly. I cannot say that this poster excites me too much, but I am still looking forward to another zombie movie from the man that has birthed legions from his loins. Diary Of The Dead will have a limited release on Feb 15, 2008. BRAINS!!!!!

Doug,
I don’t think these will be brain eating Zombies.
You see Zombie franchises branched off into 2 main areas.
Dead series (Dawn of the, Day of the, Night of the living, etc … etc…) These Zombies just eat people, not so picky on what part.
Return of the … is the other branch. (Return of the licing dead 1, 2, 3 and 4) and a few others by those guys, and those are the “Need Brains” Zombies.
Diary of the dead, will certainly be the open minded “I’ll eat any part of you” Zombies.
Just an FYI bud.
How many tmes is the end going to begin?
@nevadasmith:
Not zombies ;-) They’re not dead. Just infected.
Sorry. I’m a pedant. :-)
Poster is cool.
Loving this rennaissance for horror / post-apocalyptic movies.
I am a fan of Romero’s Zombie movies, so I’m looking forward this.
Badass poster.. I hope it will be a good movie.
Zombies are no longer slow walkers-and I think it’s scary when zombies move fast (28 Days Later…etc)
Gah, Bassturd! You totally stole my thundah! I’ll give you credit for being first though. Good job. Despite that glaring error, I like the poster. A little generic but alright. I’m hoping the next poster invokes the style of the ‘Machete’ poster. That is an AWESOME poster!
why does the camera picture not match what it is actually filming…
From that angle you would probably be seeing the ground. But not just that, the zombies in the camera picture aren’t even the same.
Other than that it looks alright…kind of generic tho…been there seen that sort of thing.
I think Romero is going to show us how this world is in love with posting video on line with such site as youtube. He did with Dawn of the Dead and malls in the 1970’s. I know I am going to been watching this film on Valentine Day this year. My girlfriend is taking me. So I can’t wait.
The poster is OK. I really want this film to be great. After Land of the Dead, Mr. Romero needs to rebound.
