Sin City’s Goldie Joins The Spirit

Jaime-King-SpiritLook, for all I know “The Spirit” may end up sucking Alec Baldwin Schwety balls, but one thing is for absolute certain… for a guy (or lesbians) it’s going to be a lot of fun watching that screen with all the dynamite looking actresses they’re putting up there. They just added another. Jaime King, the woman who played “Goldie” in Sin City, is hooking up with the Frank Miller directed project.

The good folks over at RopeOfSilicon gives us this:

(She is) joining fellow hotties Scarlett Johansson as Silken Floss, Eva Mendes as Sand Saref and Sarah Paulson as Dr. Ellen Dolan. The film is adapated from Will Eisner’s graphic novels, and tells the story of a man (Gabriel Macht) who fakes his own death and fights crime from the shadows of Central City. The Octopus (Sam Jackson) — who kills anyone unfortunate enough to see his face — has a different mission: he’s going to wipe out the entire city.

Come on… tell me you’re not dying to see a movie where Samuel L Jackson is playing a guy named “The Octopus”! Back to the ladies… man there is sure a lot of “visual talent” up there. But that shouldn’t surprise any of us. Miller is a visual erotic style guy, and him brining that style to the big screen is par for the course really. I’m looking forward to this.

  1. I haven’t heard of “The Spirit” but I’m certainly feeling something Holy just thinking about all these hot women in one place… Finally… Someone read my mind!!!

  2. The first time I was introduced to Frank Miller’s work was his run with Daredevil. My friend introduced me to the work of WIll Eisner through “A Contract With God” I was blown away with both men’s ability to be storytellers in their medium.

Whether the movie is good or bad, we will always have the work of the originals. Quite honestly, sometimes it is fun just to see what Hollywood comes up with when they try to interpret from the comic book medium and we get work that ranges from “Captain America” (shudder) to “Sin City”.
