A big part of movies is product placement. Not surprising that movies are sometimes associated with the products within. I am not just talking about seeing a billboard for CocaCola on the side of a bus, but more iconic candy such as Willie Wonka’s Trademarked Wonkabars.
So with Halloween coming right up, the good kids over at Cinematical have offered up their list of 7 candies featured in, or promoting your favourite classic and not so classic movies.
So, I thought about some other movie-related candy to hand out on Halloween, and I have paired them up with the recognizable movie character(s) they go with. Because what would be more fun when you have to stay home giving out candy than to dress up in a costume appropriate to the treat you’re offering?
On the list, the aforementioned Wonkabar, ETs obsession with Reece’s Peices, and Harry Potter’s Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans and more.
With this festive autumn celebration upon us, and movies and TV tend to inspire a great many costumes, will you be handing out movie inspired candies?
Hand out some jawbreakers in honor of that Rose McGowan movie, Jawbreaker.
I think this year I will hand out Soylent Green.
To bad they don’t see Wonka bars like the ones featured in the film. Instead we get this crap:

A Nestle Crunch bar that has “WOnka” written on it. Meh…
They cheated on two of those Candies. I’m fairly disappointed in the list. Do marshmallows count as candy? If so, I submit that Ghostbusters should have been up there.
