I really have to say, I just LOVE this poster. It just screams 70s Pulp action. Movies hope to take you back to another time period in a movie, get you caught up in the story. This poster definitely sucks you right into that before you even sit yourself down at the theatre.
This particular experience will have two features played together. Death Proof (Tarantino) and Planet Terror (Rodriguez) will be bookends around fake movie trailers and ads that further draw you into the experience simulating the “grind house” theatre experience of the 70s.
I dont know if this will be a TRUE double feature in length (4 hours?) or if it will be two shorter movies presented in the same standard timespan (2 hours?). We all know Tarantino is not afraid to make long movies.

this is my most antispated 2007 movie i carnt wait to see it and the poster looks bloody good. and for people who still dont know this is 2 movies not 2 short movies they are 2 full leangeth movies 2 movies for the price of one.
What I’m looking forward to the most is seeing how two different directors handle two seperate parts of a movie. Will people perfer Death Proof or Planet Terror? This is going to be one hell of a movie, and the poster makes it even more exciting!

I hope this little adventure is a success for them…i think Robert Rodriguez’s importance (at least as a Hispanic director and innovator of technology and digital multimedia in film) is severely underrated

Tarantino has said several times that these will be full, feature-length movies, not 1-hour ones. Two flicks for the price of one.
I think I read somewhere that both features will be 90 minutes. So more than 3 hours including the fake trailers. Hope there’s a break halfway~!
