I dont know how I didnt know about this movie. IMDB calls it:
Four guys from the Midwest drive across the country to honor the wish of their dying friend: to watch “Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace” at George Lucas’ Skywalker Ranch before the movie’s worldwide release.
And as if a million Star Wars Geek references, and gang fights with Trekkies, and uber geekage galore wasnt enough. The token chick in the gang is superhot Kristen Bell.

Lol, looks pretty funny. Mostly just the end of the trailer cracked me up though. Looks worth seeing atleast on DVD…
I’ll be the contrarian. This trailer did nothing for me. The 05-25-77 trailer was a fair bit better.
I was around in those days, and remember the hype and craziness of those films, but I was younger than the folks in these trailers. Things looked too zany to really capture the times. I had the same issues with Detroit Rock City.

This trailer had me rolling with laughter
“lightsaber accident when I as a kid” OUCH!
and

Definately looking forward to this.

Not only is this movie going to be the funniest shit around, but Kevin Spacey is PRODUCING (not that it’s a big deal, but the guy is insane)!

They make it in to the ranch, get EP1, then after they watch it, as the credits fade in, you hear, “EPISODE ONE SUCKED!”
This is the kind of movie you pop in with a bunch of friends who are fans of Star Wars, have a few drinks and laugh your ass off.

It still looks SO good. Takes you back to the days of Star Wars excitement before we met JarJar.
