I’m not really a fan of teaser trailers usually. Most of the time they’re more like announcements than trailers. But sometimes a studio will put one together that is creative and grabs your attention. The new Snakes on A Plane teaser does both.
It’s just a short little teaser… and you don’t see too much material from the actual movie (after all… it is just a teaser). But the spin they put on it is priceless, and shows that the studio really “gets it” as far as the public perception of the movie goes.

That is a great trailer. I want to see more footage. New line have really been given a dream film here. All the free press it has received over the past months has been amazing. But will it be as big a success as the talk and hype suggests? It seems like a “cool” movie to talk about. I am not trying to be double cool and start a backlash as I can’t wait to see this fucking thing. I just think maybe it has become the motorhead of movies at the moment. You know hipsters who wear motorhead shirts but when asked probably couldn’t name 2 songs for you…know what I mean. I will fucking be there opening night thats for sure … i don;t even know what my fucking point is here…
This was one of the trailers they played before my midnight showing of X3 last Thursday. It got more applause than any teaser I’ve ever seen with an audience.
