As some of you may have noticed, Richard Brunton is no longer with The Movie Blog. Richard is a terrific writer and top notch guy who we wish all the luck in the world to. Richard joins a growing list of fantastic Movie Blog Allumnists and will most most likely be doing other online projects, and we’re sure his will be just as great as the others. You can be sure that when Richard’s new projects are ready to launch we’ll let you know about it.

Some of the things I’ve read on Richard’s blog lately (weblog.brunton.org.uk) make me wonder if he left, or if he was pushed. He sure seems bitter about something…… Plus there;s the lack of a final farewell, and he hasn’t left any comments for ages. Maybe that’s just the conspiracy theorist in me, tho!!!!

Sad day. Richard added a good balance of opinions to the site. I hope he finds a new home to talk movies, or makes one for himself. Would be a shame to miss out on his “voice”.
I hope his leaving was under “good terms”… i would hate to see any stryfe (non-movie related) here at the movie blog! Well, Richard, i enjoyed your MANY contributions to the Movie Blog and wish you sucess in the future. 2 things… 1) An alum page would be neat… 2)Richard you MUST come back and do a VIDEO edition or at least an audio edition!!! (John?!?) I dont think you guys were ever able to get together and do that… I digress… Cheers Richard! And good future.

Hmmmm… an allumni page isn’t a bad idea at all. I’ll look into that.
I’d be interested to see who all the alumni are. Instead of just removing his link from the left hand navigation you should have a page of alumni.
Of course I just get bored at work and look for anything that amuses me for even 5 minutes.
