Too much can often be read into announcements such as delays of movies, but then again often there is. I doubt there’s much to worry about for this Tony Scott movie, I mean it’s not as if they’ve finished the film and decided to recut…or could they? According to JoBlo:
The film was scheduled to be released this August but now New Line has decided to push the film back until November 4th. Reasons for the delay were not announced but it is interesting to note that the real Domino Harvey was arrested and charged with conspiracy to distribute drugs, possession, trafficking and racketeering last week. Not sure exactly what impact that would have on the film but it may bide the studio some time to add a brief coda or simply have Harvey available to do press.
I suspect it’s to get more press out of the whole situation, but there is the possibility that they’ve protrayed the character one way and are suddenly deciding to do something slightly different now this news is out. Whatever the reason it’s more noise and sparkle for us to be attracted to.
not to be the voice of dissent but i was going to say that this movie was probably pushed back because it looks SO bad. seriously if i have to set through that trailer again…ugh.
Oh nooo it was the ONLY summer movie I was looking forward to this year. What the heck am I supposed to watch now? Fantastic Four??

This movie looks a teensy bit interesting but nothing I’d really get pissed about a delay for.
It seems to be just another popcorn movie.
