Red Tails made an appearance and left an impression with the New York Comic Con crowd this weekend. Somehow I missed this gem of a poster by the great Joe Kubert but thanks to the internetz we can all enjoy this fine piece of art.

Words can’t express how much I like this poster and how much I wish that it were the cover of a book by Kubert that I could turn the page and continue to enjoy. The art work is classic stuff for fans of the artist and obviously the tag line is what arrests anyone who happens to glance at the poster.
Nothing else to see here, move along.

I seem to be in the minority in thinking this movie looks like garbage.
It’s almost always a bad sign when you add a musician to the cast so I understand your skepticism. Most of the support is due to the fact that it’s Lucas’ first original movie in like two decades. He gets a pass.
Well it may be your average melodrama…hopefully the ww2 dogfights will be exciting.
