Batman’s new Batcave

My How times have changed. It seems everyone’s favorite caped crusader is moving! Last Batcave was pretty devastated by Ra’s Al Ghul in Batman Begins and it seems that after taking a movie to recover, the Batcave returns with some cosmetic changes:

This kinda looks like the BatCave that fans of the comics will identify, which isn’t too much of a departure from what was used in the Tim Burton films. Right now it all seems pretty bright and futuristic but I’m sure by the time they’re ready to film it will deliver the exact impression that Nolan wants. In the meantime let’s cross our fingers for a giant penny or T-Rex’s inclusion.

  1. It looks great, but what is it with Sci-Fi movies and the vast vacant spaces with platforms over nothing? Also, since when is Wayne Manor built over the bottomless pit? The cave from Batman Begins was actually a cave instead of a massive hole leading to the center of the earth. The look is cool, but it doesn’t fit for the Bat Cave. It reminds me of Star Wars more than anything. I feel that sometimes complete redesigns are not necessary for movie sequels. I understand that the Bat Cave wasn’t in BB, but the cave looked nothing like this.
