The TV Set Trailer

I was never a big X-Files fan (I liked the show, but I wasn’t one of it’s many huge fans), and I never paid much attention to David Duchovny either. Then I saw “Return To Me” which was a damn fine little comedy… and one in which Duchovny gives the single most powerful scene I’ve ever witnessed him do. His wife had just died in a tragic car accident, he walks i the house, and just colapses on the floor and beging to cry and wail. It was the kind of acting I didn’t know he was capable of… and it instantly made me a fan.

Now here comes “The TV Set“. I’ve been looking forward to this movie for ages… and now The TV Set trailer is here! Check it out.

  1. Trailer looks good. Always liked Duchovny…was a big fan of the show and it was the chemistry between him and Anderson, one of the prime ingredients, that really helped make the show.

I always thought that Duchovny was underrated. Hope this gets his star going!

  2. Love this trailer and can’t wait for this movie.
Looks like a sharp, funny satire and the cast is great, glad to see Sigourney back, always loved her, Judy Greer has been underrated for too long, and Duchovny can definatly work that beard.
I want to see this as soon as possible.

  3. I loved the old geezers in return to me they were really funny and it felt like they really cared about each other as well. Duchovney’s scene where he breaks down and cries with the dog was really powerful. My wife had bought the dvd a couple of years ago and she always cries at that scene – even though she’s seen it like twenty times.

  4. I wonder how much of this is based off of characters from Taxi Driver (yes, I’m one of the few that haven’t seen it)….

John… You gotta use spell check, man…. :D
