A New Mystery Unfolds in Sugar
The Sugar season two mystery deepens this week as Apple TV prepares to release the third episode of the current season. Titled Watch Face, the episode follows the continued investigations of private detective John Sugar, portrayed by Colin Farrell.
In this latest installment, the narrative shifts as Danny secures a new lead regarding Ji. Meanwhile, back at the Del, Sugar finds himself navigating an unexpected situation with a new admirer. Continuing the Neo-Noir Journey
Created by Mark Protosevich, the show offers a contemporary take on the private detective genre. This season finds the iconic investigator searching for his sister while simultaneously taking on a new missing persons case involving the older brother of a local boxer. As the investigation grows, the story promises to delve into a city-wide conspiracy that forces Sugar to confront his own moral boundaries.
The second season features a new ensemble cast alongside Farrell, including Jin Ha, Raymond Lee, Tony Dalton, Laura Donnelly, and Sasha Calle, with special guest star Shea Whigham. The series is showrun by Sam Catlin, who also serves as an executive producer.
Fans of the neo-noir thriller can catch the latest episode when it premieres globally on Apple TV this Friday, July 3. For those looking to catch up on the series, the complete first season is currently available to stream on the platform.
