Faris Teases Sequel Possibilities
Speaking with Entertainment Tonight at the Scary Movie premiere, Faris revealed that there’s “interest” in revisiting her 2008 comedy The House Bunny. While stopping short of confirming official plans, she acknowledged the film’s enduring popularity: “It turns out that movie is beloved, and that character too. I never thought that dream would ever be realised either, and it’s too soon to say anything.”
The original film, which co-starred Emma Stone and Colin Hanks, grossed $70.4 million against a $25 million budget. Faris played Shelley Darlingson, a Playboy Bunny who becomes a sorority house mother.
