Apple TV announced the first look at its new thriller series Last Seen, starring Patrick Brammall. The six‑episode Australian drama adapts Ryan David Jahn’s award‑winning novel “The Dispatcher.” Set and filmed in Victoria, the story follows police detective Ian Ridley, now a dispatcher, who receives a distress call that may lead him to his missing daughter. The series will debut globally on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, with two episodes launching together and a new episode each Wednesday through October 7.
Cast and crew
Joining Brammall is Maxine Peake, alongside Brendan Cowell, Daniel Henshall, Jessica Wren, Zahra Newman and newcomer Chloe Jean Lourdes. The show is directed and executive‑produced by Emmy‑nominated filmmaker Christian Schwochow, with writer‑producer Kris Mrksa adapting the source material.
