Apple TV releases a fresh teaser for the “Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed series”

Apple TV has just posted a new teaser for the darkly comedic thriller Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed. The clip shows Emmy winner Tatiana Maslany and Jake Johnson in a tense, witty moment. Fans can watch the teaser now on the official Apple TV YouTube channel.

What the series is about

In the Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed series, newly divorced mother Paula (played by Maslany) discovers a dangerous secret. She believes she has seen a crime while fighting a custody battle. This belief pushes her into a risky investigation that mixes blackmail, murder, and youth soccer. Meanwhile, Paula’s search uncovers a larger conspiracy. The plot also offers a chance for her to rebuild her family and her own identity. The story balances humor with suspense, making each episode feel fresh and unpredictable.

Creator and showrunner David J. Rosen leads the writing and executive production. He previously worked on “Sugar” and “Hunters.” Director David Gordon Green, known for “The Righteous Gemstones,” also serves as an executive producer. Their combined experience promises high‑quality storytelling.

Simon Kinberg and Audrey Chon join as executive producers under their first‑look deal with Apple TV. Bard Dorros from Anonymous Content, as well as Tony Hernandez, Lilly Burns, and Elise Henderson from Counterpart Studios, round out the production team.

Release schedule and viewing details

The Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed series premieres globally on May 20. Apple TV will release the first two episodes on the same day. After that, a new episode will drop every Wednesday until July 15. This weekly rhythm lets viewers discuss each twist before the next one arrives.

Press members can watch episodes 101‑107 in the Apple TV press screening room. All reviews remain under embargo until May 20 at 12 AM PT/3 AM ET. Additional key art, photos, and information are available on the Apple TV press site.
